About Us
Anne Graner, our Media Specialist
Anne Graner, the Library Media Specialist, has lived on three continents: North America, Europe, and Africa and has had multiple careers: elementary classroom teacher, youth group leader, yoga dance instructor, expressive arts teacher, workshop facilitator, and documentary filmmaker.
Throughout her careers, she’s sought to empower others and to encourage creativity and outreach. Anne’s been a school library media specialist for eight years at both the elementary and high school levels. When she was the library media specialist at Carrollton High School, the library was named the GA DOE Exemplary Library Media Program of the Year for high schools in 2012. In 2016, Anne became the library media specialist at Ruth Hill Elementary. Later that year, Anne was chosen by her peers as the school’s Teacher of the Year and went on to become a finalist for the Coweta County Schools’ Teacher of the Year.
Ruth Hill Elementary School
Ruth Hill Elementary is located in Newnan, GA. Some of our county’s most vulnerable students attend our school. 75% of the 360 students are considered economically disadvantaged. Everyday we work hard to make a difference in their lives and to lay the foundation for life success. We believe that now is the time to impact them. We work to close the achievement gap and the opportunity gap that many of the students have.
